As The Parr family returns to screen after 14 years, it’s the youngest member, the infant Jack Jack, who leaves the audience squealing in delight

While ‘Incredibles 2’ is not Disney-Pixar’s best, but it’s certainly a solid sequel to a beloved film.

The highest points of the film and its acutest observations — even if predictable — remain Mr Incredible Bob Parr’s struggles with reconciling to the success of his wife, Elastigirl Helen, in a new superhero role.

While it might not be as emotionally powerful as some of Pixar’s best films, Brad Bird gives us a spectacular superhero alternative to the insane stakes of Avengers: Infinity War.

You might argue that Incredibles 2 doesn’t break any new ground or deliver the high notes of classic Pixar sequels like Toy Story 3 or Finding Dory. That may be true. But it’s still consistently enjoyable, and a notch above so many live action superhero films today.

Writer & director Brad Bird believed in waiting for the right story to tell, and that decision certainly pays off in more ways than one as ‘Incredibles 2’ proves to be an Incredible amount of fun!

Incredibles 2 is pure heart and nostalgia. Brad Bird gifts back our childhood to us in the most entertaining way. I haven’t met anyone who has hated The Incredibles & I’ll meet no one who will dislike Incredibles 2.

Despite a typical colour palette, witnessed in many superhero films, the visuals of the film along with the 3D animation, are decent and exciting.

Overall, Incredibles 2 is an entertainer that would entice the young and the older audience alike.

Incredibles 2’s tottering scene-stealer is more than pleased to be the best thing about its flying, fizzy, whimsical, endearing and 3D action-packed two hours.
