Coffee with D

If you have got absolutely nothing to do this weekend, you could consider watching this film. Honestly, though, I would prefer watching Sunil Grover on The Kapil Sharma Show instead.

MSG: The Warrior Lion Heart

2016 · Rediff · Oct 2016

In a nutshell, Sher Dil is basically all superheroes combined. Sadly, the character is so magnanimous that no film can do justice to it.

Great Grand Masti

Great Grand Masti

2016 · Rediff · Jul 2016

As if the cringe-worthy story wasn't enough, the makers have added random songs in the film, making it a difficult watch. In a nutshell, Great Grand Masti is neither great nor grand, and it doesn't have any masti elements either.

The Legend of Tarzan

The Legend of Tarzan

2016 · Rediff · Jul 2016

Samuel L Jackson and Margot Robbie are average. You'll forget their performances once you walk out of the theatre. The VFX is a letdown as well. If you have got absolutely nothing to do this weekend, you can kill time watching The Legend of Tarzan. But then, there are always better things to do.

Dhanak

To have a movie revolve around just two characters is hard but Kukunoor does it and how! He proves yet again why he is a filmmaker to reckon with. In the recent years, I can't remember watching a film with a big smile on my face throughout. You'll probably feel the same after watching Dhanak.

1920 London

Sharman Joshi has been trying to experiment with different kinds of films but his strategy doesn't seem to be working. He is a terrific actor but needs to very cautious while choosing scripts. But if Sharman wasn't in the film, 1920 London would have been a very painful ride.

Laal Rang

Laal Rang

2016 · Rediff · Apr 2016

Laal Rang does not pack a solid punch because of its choppy storyline. Also, since the film is set in the heartland of Haryana, all the characters speak in Haryanvi, which after a point becomes too much. If you don't listen carefully, you may miss the point.

Love Games

The first half of the film is all about love games, sexual boredom and intimate scenes. The story takes off in the second half but it misses the mark because of its predictable story, cliched dialogues and all-too-easy screenplay.
