Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar might be a good-looking, shining and sanitised story about love, heartbreak and family ties in an urban and plush setting, but Luv doesn't shy away from digging deep into the messiness, nuances and complexities of modern day relationships. It might not be risky, novel and experimental but it is fun, frothy and unpretentious in its appeal, and smells of formula in all its glory.

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has its humour and heart in place. Character building misses the mark, given the duration. The first half is aimless with characters not etched out enough, but the film picks up drastically in the latter half and transforms into a hilarious family entertainer.

Also, the dialogues need to be forgotten, please. Luv tries to pack a dated product with a newly designed packing, so the first half is entirely predictable.
