Compared to the energetic Days Of Future Past, this is awful! The flashbacks and the repetition of scenes get to you after a point of time. Visually, it's very good but come on! For good visuals, I could just stare at the superhero screensaver on my laptop and not spend my time and money in the theatre. Even for X-Men fans, this is a one-time watch!

The concept seems interesting but when it's not backed by a good story it looks like the makers just are resorting to witless humor to get some eyeballs. Hunterrr seems nothing but another forced adult comedy!

If you like action and revenge dramas this is great one! But if you can't watch blood and torture then there is no way you can watch this. NH10 is a power packed revenge drama!

What's important is that debut director Manu Warrier delivers what the promos promised and that doesn't happen too often. If you are up for a good relaxed weekend viewing then Coffee Bloom should be your pick.

...is a pointless film. It's a film that shouldn't have been made in the first place. It misfires!

DLKH is very well written and well shot as well. It also has the right amount of humor to keep you entertained. Both Ayushmann Khurana and Bhumi Pednekar have performed extremely well. Music of the film could have been better and the film could have been slightly more pacy. Nevertheless what's important is that Dum Laga Ke Haisha is different and it will make you smile.

Since the story comes from the filmmakers personal experiences it strikes the right chord. An absolute must watch film!

This film has some amazing moments and a lot of credit goes to the director and his actors. Raghvan gives them an open field to perform and show their best skills, the magic is obviously in the writing. If you enjoy thrillers then you shouldn't miss Badlapur, you get the watch the best of Varun and Nawaz.

I'm told releasing a film is not easy. One has to have a good story, get the cast in place, and convince a producer to back it and then get a studio to release it. After all kinds of checkpoints it's appalling that this film has made it to the theatres.

R Balki holds the story together and keeps you entertained through this two hours and twenty minute film. The concept itself is quite different and works very well. Using Bachchan's popular voice seems like a brilliant idea.

Amit Sharma's remake of the Telugu hit Okkadu (2003) comes too late to Bollywood. Times have changed and so have Bollywood movies. The era of small town politicians and goon films is almost over. Sadly the year starts with a disappointing film. The good thing however is that the quality of films can only go up from here.

It may not be the best film to watch around Christmas but it's one hell of movie that shouldn't be missed. Anurag Kashyap is at his best once again. Ugly is dark and hard-hitting like his critically acclaimed film Black Friday (2007).

...cinephiles are likely to appreciate the attempt to show how hard it is for outsiders to break into an industry which is still driven by nepotism and commerce. Despite the film's flaws, Masurkar shows promise as a filmmaker drawing from what seem like his own experiences as a filmmaker. It will be interesting to see what he comes up with next.

This is Ridley Scott's version of the age old story and even though it's two and a half hours long, it's simply awesome!

Action Jackson is just action scenes and random songs put together to fill 145 minutes of screen time. This film is beyond repair.

Filmmaker Ravi Kumar has captured everything that this drama needed. The feel of Bhopal in the 80s, the slum life, the joy of a man who lands a job at the plant and the disaster, everything if managed well. However the quality of production could have been better. Bhopal - A Prayer for Rain is a story that needed to be told.

The penguins are cute, animation and 3D is great! And the running time is just 92 minutes but since the film doesn't touch the right cord it doesn't seem worth the time.
Full review ↗TRM 5.8−1.8
The intention may have been good but the plot is silly and way to unrealistic! It's kind of clear that some of it was possibly salvaged in post production but quite a bit was beyond repair. So Ungli releases with all the loopholes at a theatre near you.

Romcom seems like an easy genre to execute but clearly is not everyone's cup of tea. With a good budget and good looking actor it's easy to make a good looking film but it's tough to make an entertaining one. Happy Ending is a decent one-time watch.

Visually Happy New Year looks great but why wouldn't a film with a big banner, a talented filmmaker like Farah Khan, a good cast and great locations? That's never the challenge. The challenge is to entertain and Happy New Year falls short in entertaining, it's long length of over three hours being the weakest point. There is no doubt that Farah Khan knows the craft well but she is yet to give an entertainer like Om Shanti Om.

There are some funny moments but just some! Once the film starts, almost everything is predictable. The acting is over the top because the film turns out to be so silly. There is little the actors can do to save this film. Sex Tape is neither funny and nor is it sexy!

Neither is Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami unbearable, nor is it a good film by any standards; it's somewhere in between... ...If your idea of going for a film is to get entertained and have a good time, then this is not something you would want invest your time in.

If your idea of a fun film is watching two good looking stars running around senselessly for two hours and thirty minutes then go and watch Bang Bang. The makers have put in a lot of money. Is it wasted or well spent, only time will tell. I would suggest you save your hard earned money and watch Bang Bang on TV someday soon.

I will definitely recommend Haider, it's a sure shot winner! Vishal Bhardwaj impresses once again! The only problem with Haider is it's length of 2 hours and 40 minutes, it could have been much shorter with as much impact. Music by Vishal Bhardwaj is right for the film but not great, like it been in the past.

Mary Kom's story is a great one and we all know that. The film falls short in doing justice to Magnificent Mary. Mary Kom is strictly average

Raja Natwarlal is a below average product. The filmmaker made sure he does almost everything that Hashmi's fans love. Serial kisser is kissing his leading lady so you see him doing what he does best. He is given some funny punch lines for the frontbenchers. He fights and even takes revenge for his friend's murder.

Mardaani is not a usual Yashraj film but a good one to switch tracks and attempt something different. Filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar deserves a pat on his back for this one. He not just gets the best performances out of his cast but keeps his focus right making Mardaani a great watch. Book your tickets for Mardaani and watch Rani Mukherji in action. She will blow your mind!

The idea of Bobby Jasoos is good but the execution is not! The script is full of loopholes and is very predictable. CityLights is a very important film, it gives us a reality check. Mumbai is known to be the city of dreams but it does have a big share of shattered dreams too. It's a good one but from the team of Shahid and with Mahesh Bhatt backing the project, we expected more.

It's a film that will touch your heart but it could have been much better had the focus been just the story. Looks like the emphasis is sometimes only on making you feel bad for the subject which, should come naturally and not be so in your face.

The production quality of Youngistaan is great and that's one of the biggest aspects in making Youngistaan watchable. Bhatt's favourite Jeet Ganguly and some other music directors have given some melodious tracks that definately add value. The target audience of Youngistaan is the youth and for them this will be an enjoyable ride.

The film teaches you a lot about relationships and in the most sensitive way. Nebraska has moments that will make you smile and cry. It's a beautiful film that makes you think of your relationship with your parents. I am going to watch Nebraska once again. I suggest you watch it once if not twice. Story telling can't get better than this.

Dallas Buyers Club is definitely worth watching, it's a powerful film! Almost everything is just perfect in Dallas Buyers Club. A superb script by Craig Borten and Melisa Wallack and touchingly sensitive direction by Jean-Marc Vallee, not to mention he never shifts focus from his subject.

The purpose of making this documentary is surely to create awareness. The makers have done their job well. Now it's up to us to spread the word and recommend this film. Whatever you may be doing this weekend, take out sometime to watch Gulabi Gang. Watch it, because it's important!

Alia Bhatt fits perfectly in this role but doesn't have much scope to perform. Even Randeep Hooda is not bad either but has little to do. Casting director Mukesh Chhabra is bang on, it's unusual and works very well here! Rahman's music does set the mood of the film and cinematographer Anil Mehta captures beautiful locations but even all this can't save this film! Avoid this Highway, it will lead you nowhere!

Though you know this may be almost impossible in the real world but director Spike Jonze creates magic in front of your eyes and what may seem unbelievable when someone narrates it to you is soon believable when you are inside the cinema hall. Her is a lovely film which you just shouldn't miss!

Not many may like the fact that Afghan villagers are the heroes here but this film says the story as it is. Berg does a marvelous job. His team of muscle men Mark Wahlberg, Tylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch, Ben Foster and Eric Bana make the film look real. Lone Survivor is pulled out of the real world and it's unforgettable!

As if the writing, direction and acting was not bad enough, the film lurches out one gross scene after another-from Abhay Deol's nonstop farts to his burps, you have to witness it all in this mundane film. The search for the first contender of the 'Worst Films of 2014 list' ends right here.

12 Years a Slave is one of the best movies ever made on American slavery. British director Steve McQueen has succeeded in bringing on celluloid the pain of slavery in every single scene of the film. It's an adaptation of the 1853 memoir by Solomon Northup. Must I add that it's very brave of Brad Pitt to produce this one.

Contrary to Mandela's life that had enough drama, the film fails to capture any of it...making it boring at times. It works because of the real life story of Mandela. An iconic world figure deserves a much better biopic! Here they don't call it a 'long walk' for no reason, the film is 140 minutes long and that is very long for this genre.

Leonardo DiCaprio keeps the energy levels high and delivers one of the best performances of his career. He makes Jorgan Belfort as shameless and arrogant as Scorsese must have imagined. Technically this film is a masterpiece. It uses the 3D format in the way it's meant to be used.
